    Street/Strip fuel hose suggestions....

Thanks for all the help. I generally research all ("best"/affordable) options beforehand and have a pretty good idea. I just like having input and advice from others to make sure I haven't missed anything. I don't have many car guys (and zero MOPAR guys) to talk to about this stuff and...

......uh.....no.....but if I wouldn't mind if I had to get clearance for launch from NASA when I take it to the track! : D Aeromotive recommends -10 feed and -8 return - who am I to argue???

Thank you. Is it available in a -10 size and what AN fittings are compatible?

I've seen them and most agree that they make assembly easier. Haven't made an AN line in quite a while - will probably go with a Teflon hose and don't think they can be used. Thank you for your input. <><

I'll have to look into the fuel controller setup. The Summit add stated "designed for your daily driver or race vehicle". It'll be a return system with the Aeromotive 13204 regulator. Thought about doing a Fitech or Sniper EFI setup "down the road" and wanted the fuel system to be able to handle...

Thanks for your input. I looked at the Earls hose too - $267 for 20' of -10. Expensive but figured it would last "forever" and handle any fuel. Think I may go with the Fragola SS Teflon lined hose. Cheaper with all the benefits - just not black. They do have a black rubber coated version but...

    Street/Strip fuel hose suggestions....

Good idea. I work for the fleet maintenance department of a small town and we deal with a local shop quite a bit. May run by there one evening. What is the inner hose made of? Would like at leat a synthetic rubber. Are the pressure and temperature limits similar to the big name hoses? Thank you.

What brand hose and fittings are you using? I saw one brand (Fragola, I think) but reading about how to install the fittings, I think it said you had to slide back the stainless outer covering and trim it off? Thought that sounded a bit "daunting" - I like the fact that it's impervious to...

I saw the buildup of younggun2.0 and love that setup. His inbox is full so I haven't been able to find out what fuel hose he is running. Looking at the fittings, I can almost make out a Summit logo so maybe Summit's nylon braid?

I may be mistaken but I thought I read a couple descriptions of nylon braided hose being drag race legal? I'll have to do a little more research. By "strip", I mean I may do a test & tune or Friday Night Street Class event now and then.

Thought about that as well. I saw that Aeroquip has a woven (Kevlar/Nomex) hose, Starlite I think. Again, not familiar with it so if someone has used it, feel free to let a brother know. Thank you.

Thank you. I looked at that - especially considering I'm running a -10 feed and a -8 return.

Gathering parts for my fuel system and wondering what some of you guys are using. Previously ran ss braid but notice there are so many options these days. Cost is always a factor but don't mind the extra expense if the benefits are worth it. Building a 470 going into a '73 Dart Swinger. I have a...
