A figure that floats up from the
"magic 8-ball spherical dyno" is
indicative of *possibly* up to
around a 0.3-0.4 reduction in E.T.
Switching to Walker Dynomax Ultraflows
and a Dr. Gas "X"-pipe would really help
in getting fuller benefit of the cam & headers.--- 8)...
They definitely work fine for hydraulic rollers under .550 - .570 lift. The slower classes at NMRA events use them w/o fail all day long.
Owner-Error can kill any rocker
when "true" pushrod length is not measured & overlooked. Exceeding the max. lift specified by the rocker manufacturer is...

48-degree heads are for 48-degree blocks, which you do not have.
A set of Edelbrock heads should flow at least as well as the earlier W2s when ported, plus they're aluminum AND do not require all the different valvetrain pieces.

Unfortunately, getting a **complete** rebuild kit to replace the 3-brl Holley's old dried-out gaskets and seals will be an exercise in futility.
You can find *some* maintenance components separately, but not nearly **all** the ones needed to restore a 35 year-old carb to reliable & running...
The aluminum rad Bill has on RMS (www.bigblockdart.com) has the brackets,
and goes for about $295. Many have reported back how pleased they were
with the radiator, installation, & Bill's dependably laser-fast shipping.
