    I used a 4" hole saw and it worked just fine. You may want to put a block of wood on the under side for support and prevent tearout.

    I think what you have is factory. The "plug" fits through the holes in the hood so that the scoops will set flat on the hood. I agree that you should get the stud and nut kit. You coud cheet and get simaular stud at the hardware store but I was afraid that they wouldn't hold...

    I am in the process of reworking the taillight lens on my 72 Dart. I thought they were trimmed in silver but they look more like a "dirty" white. What is the correct color?

    Another Hoo Scoop Question

    I putting twin hood scoops on my 72 Dart and have a nice diagram for the hole locations but it does not say what size the holes are. Can anyone tell me the correct hole size? My stud kit contains the stud, soft washer, a steel washer and nut. What is the correct order to assemble these in?
