hi everyone. I just did this on my 68 Dart with the fiberglass hood. I got a used set from a wrecker and heated the spring until it began to expand.As soon as I saw it begin to expand I stopped the heating process. I checked the tension by feel and if needed reheat. Be careful not to overheat...

Hi I am replacing the vinyl roof on my 1968 Dodge Dart GT. The vinyl roof supplier asked me if it is a 38" or 43" center deck measurement. I bought the Dart all stripped so I am not sure on the size that was used. I like the 43" but want to put the proper one on. Thanks in advance
