I had kumho tires 245/50ZR16 and they were excellent in snow and all around. A bit of a hard ride though. My only experience with nitto are their drag radials, same size. And they hooked extremely well with 4k RPM launch.

Finally got her out of the garage and she started right up :D. Just needs some bodywork and she'll be good to go!

So I guess it's safe to say that 4" backspacing is the best bet.

The one on the left is a 225/60R15 sitting next to a 255/60R15

I have 225/60R15 up front with 15x7 and it looks plenty wide. 4" backspacing.

I don't think this will fit. Mine are 15x8 with 4.5 backspacing. And I have a 1/4 of inch before it hits the spring. You may need a 1/4 spacer

I had to go with 15" up front because of the disc conversion. I've seen alot of wide tires at the rear and skinnies up front. I wanted to go with a different approach and have decent width all around. Either way good luck!

Stockton wheels can be custom made, but you can't beat summits $89.99 for the 15x8 rims. This the best that I can do for now. rest assured as soon as I can move the car out of the garage I'll take side shots!

Same wheels and tire brand, 15x7 with 225/60R15 tires. Although they only had 4" backspacing, I'm hoping it won't rub on the inner fender. I won't be able to test fit till next month since I bought a front disc conversion kit. Think I can get away with 4" backspacing up front? I'm thinking worst...

15x8 steelies from summit with 4.5 backspacing with 255/60R15 tires. The factory 14 dog dishes also fit :D before: after: ignore that little rust patch. It's a small fix that I intend on taking care of this summer.

Preferably on a 15x8 rim? I ordered a set BFG, on some steelies. It'll probably be a month till I can throw them in. Just curious on the stance and tire width. Thanks if anything. :)

I was planning on getting summits 1 piece version of the prostars. What looked so cheap about them?

They have 15x7 with only a 4" backspacing. Anyone know if this will clear a 71 duster(front wheels) with disc brakes?
