    hi folks does anyone know the manufacture that mopar used for there clutches and pressure plates in 2003? I have a p4529136 clutch and p4529140 plate but I just can not remember the manufacture .I did get them from a Chrysler dealer. thought it was center force. thanks

    crazy 340 the shifter is new and i even had hurst rebuild it for me because of a different problem. i have adjusted the rods a couple of times seeing that they are straight rods with this shifter they seem to be aligned correctly but you never know maybe i just need to adjust the rod another...

    i used an ansen on my 360 crate motor with tti headers and had no issues at all with fit or fuction. anyone who runs the set up and is concerned with motor/trans flex try using a schumacker torque strap. it will keep everything in place. terry

    Clutch pedal limit stop

    i welded a large nut on my pedal then inserted a threaded rod about 4 inches long with a rubber cap on it. then adjusted the rod so it would hit the floor right after the clutch engaged. i only did it for less pedal travel,quicker shifts terry

    the competition mechanism should have a threaded hole on the front and back for a bolt to go into and adjust the throw of each gear. and i believe each comp machanism did have straight shifter rods to allow for the shorter throw. terry

    hi matthon could you disconnect the arm that goes thru the firewall that connects to the z bar then disconnect the fork adjustment rod at the other end of the z bar.now align the first rod with the z bar then see if there is a different way to connect the clutch adjusting rod to the z bar...

    i had the same problem with my 360 crate engine.it seems the folks at mopar only drilled the crank to fit the roller bearing type pilot bearing which happens to be the same size as a torque converter and yes you must cut about 1/2 off the tip of your input shaft in order to give you enough room...

    72dustyer sounds like you will need to get a kit (2 pcs) of dowels at .007 each. your at .012 with .001 at the input.so .013 total. buy .007 x 2= .014. as far as your lube between 8-9 pints. hope this helps terry

    orangedust do you me the clutch adjusting rod? it connects to the z-bar and then to the fork. if so mopar sells a kit i believe with all the correct hardware clips etc to help you.you may even want to try a longer rod if possible. terry
