I disagree with Hughes on cam recommendations. Unless they are running over 68 degrees intake closing. Which is why scr needed is so high That's why I called bullet and not Crap cams. They took my 10:1 390 specs and custom ground a solid roller 254/264 @.050 and .689 lift with a intake closing...

Biggest thing with break in is camshaft and GET those rings seated!! Do not baby it or you may have to take it back out and rehone.

Touching more on that. It depends on where the duration is measured. An advertised duration of say 290 flat vs roller would have different @.050 duration. Since the ramp is quicker on a roller.

Impressive. Average CFM under the curve is 196cfm. While the higher lift number is better my edelbrocks only have a 276cfm peak but average 192cfm.
