Yeah, I like the fittings and the nylon jacketed hose is lighter and does not chafe into everything it rubs on. I will be running everything in black and I found a killer air to water intercooler setup. The water to air intercooler is only 16"x12.5"x4.5" and will flow and cool 1500 cfm...

I might do that but it does not prevent someone who breaks into the car from getting under the hood to swipe my $600 carb! LOL I am also goin turbo, so it will remain to be seen how the hood latch works out. I like to be able to lock it....that flush mount set-up is sweet and I won't have to...

Very cool! I'm lookin' at em too. Very nice. They not only get rid of the protruding hood pins.....they look bitchin' and they come in a lockable version. The Flush mount is the way to go. i may use them even though I still have a conventional hood latch. I drilled a hole in the hood latch so i...

You will need, at the very least, solid motor mounts. I ended up tack welding a set onto the block mount to keep them from twisting. I'm going to a motor plate....

    Re-birth of my 1968 Barracuda

I talked to these guys a while back about doing my box. They seemed cool and the prices are good. Mine is a factory close ratio. I think he said they can rebuild it with either ratio. http://www.carsteering.com/addtocart/1968_Plymouth/Barracuda/Manual_Steering_Gear_Box/82-70085.html# And...

    Project Nighthawk

Yeah man, sounds killer! I'll have to post a vid of my beast of a 69 340 w/complete Crane valvetrain and forged pistons, giving it just under 10-1 compression, still running the original x heads and block at .057" over.

I had the same problem only with the oil pan to k member clearance in my 69 dart. I ended up notching the K member and running solid mounts. It's way better on shifts this way anyway.

    Project Nighthawk

That thing is looking killer! I could not tell in the pics but make sure that anywhere you have wires or hoses going through a hole in the metal body that you have a grommet in them. Also, the steel braided hose will eat anything they ride against from the vibrations going down the road so you...
