Thanks guys. It's a 6711,which makes it a 650 DP. How do you think it will work on a mild 340 build?

    Holley carb?

Ok Holley guys. Maybe one of you can help me out. I have a Holley DP,spreadbore, that came on my 318. The #s on the side of the carb are GR4327B,and on the base are 12R5395B. Can anyone tell me what this is? Is it worth going through,to use on my 340 build? Thanks,Dave :help:

    2X4 LP manifold

:glasses6: Hey Cap'n. You might try watching E-Bay. I just got an Edelbrock,2x4 tunnel ram (never mounted),and also a Weiand tunnel ram linkage kit (brand new) from there. Both very reasonable. They had another tunnel ram listed at the same time, plus a Edelbrock six pack intake just went...

    E-85 fuel

I was listening to Don Imus' program (Imus in the morning) a couple of weeks ago.GM gave him some flex fuel vans for his ranch. He said they get about 22 mpg on gas and 19 on E-85. Said he did not notice any difference in performance.

    Crosswind intake

 Thought I saw a thread on this before, but could'nt find it. Is anyone using the Professional Products Crosswind intake, and if so,what are you thoughts? Just curious,as they are quite a bit cheaper than an Eddy. Just wondering how they would compare. :-k

    750 Holley

Actually the best carb I ever ran on my low compression 340 was a Eddy 600. Great throttle response and milage. It may have had more top end with a 750 though. Adam,is that not pretty much the same as a Carter AFB? That is what is on my Sport /360,and performs great. I had good luck with...

    750 Holley

 Thanks Adam & Rumble. Car is '73 Duster 4-speed / .321's. Engine is 340 from a '72. (Low comp.) Think I'll steer clear of the DP. I'm not concerned about how fast she'll go,just want her to look, run, and sound good, with as little problems as possible. I don't want to go any lower in...

    750 Holley

OK,called to make arrangements to pick up this carb. Found out it is a 750 DP,man.choke, mech secondaries. I know this is a higher $ piece, and probably better for race purp.,but how would it perform on the street as just a driver? Been a long time, but back in the day, seems like the few guys I...

    750 Holley

 Thanks for the advice guy's. 750 and perf. RPM is how I'll go. Please bear with me. It's been 30 years since I put a motor together, and I sure am remembering alot of things I have forgotten. Plenty more ?'s coming, once I tear into this thing,I'm sure. Have a cold one on me...

    750 Holley

I've found a new 750 Holley (vac secondary) for $200. I'm needing a carb for my 340. Mopar purple shaft cam (not sure of specs) J heads, stock bottom end. Also not sure on what intake to buy yet. Open for suggestions. My question,is that too much carb?
