    Stuck pistons/Crank, any ideas?

    This may sound crazy,but I broke one loose using iodine. Learned that trick from an old mechanic. Squirted it around the pistons,let it soak a few days,and wala.

    383 vs 400

    I had a '73 Sattelite with a 400,back in the mid 70's. Sure,it was a dog,and a gas hog. That does'nt mean they have no potential. I've seen many,with a little work,turned into monsters. Wish I still had it,today.

    Could this not also be a timing issue? I have had that problem in the past.
