Corky (Walt jr.) Hermsen. He had an original '69 427 tri-powered Corvette that he finally sold a few years ago. Prior to that he had a '67 427 tri-powered Corvette that was stolen when he was in the service. He's in his mid 60s now.

I've only been to Mo-Kan once and it was a long time ago. My cousin from LaMar took me. I'd love to go again.

I had really wanted to attend this year but other things have come up. I'm hoping some of you guys can snap some photos so I can see what I'm missing out on.

I'm going to try to make it. I'll probably tow the '67 to Des Moines. I still am trying to get the last few bugs worked out before I know for sure. My son will probably drive his '70 Roadrunner. (He lives in Des Moines now)

There were a pair of Oklahoma cars that made it. Almost all of the Mopars that I've seen at other local shows didn't appear.

Well you saw that the Duster is pretty rough. I never expected to win any awards, that's for sure. It might be a good drag car, but it's no show car. No awards naturally but I did manage to get it on the dyno. Now if there was an award for prettiest sounding....
