Can't speak for stock but... ...my Summit exhaust system came with offset inlets (placed close to the driveshaft) and centered outlets out to the tailpipes. One installation can be found here... http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=110418 Paul

Trying one right now on my 72 Duster. Also as an FYI I have Hedman Headers. Pulled the pipes/mufflers out the box last night and mocked up the front part. I am planning on adding an H pipe with it...so that will slow things down a bit. Hopefully I will have some time this weekend but so...

Since you didn't mention anything about your motor, I looked up a couple of your posts. 2-1/4" or 2-1/2" tailpipes won't matter much in your case for performance...the smaller tailpipes might be a bit quieter. Smaller tailpipes used to be common to make the exhaust installation easier...
