I also reused my /6 crossmember, the transmission mount part number is the same for /6 and 318's as far as I know........ Maybe its different if you were converting to a standard transmission.......

I agree, I did this to mine and it looks great. It took me about 1-1/2 days to complete the job. Probably 4 hours to do the grinding and filing, and then a small amount of Bondo and primer/paint. Let it dry overnight and re-installed. I don't have a lot of "special" tools, I used a dremel tool...
