You gotta be resourceful if you are a DIYer like me. I always like it when I can find the info I need here at FABO. The more info here the better although we could never match up with what's out there. All I am saying is that I don't recommend limiting yourself to just FABO.

Every time I call or go into a store to try and buy something and they say 'none in Canada it will be 8 weeks' (like the Felpro oil pan gasket I wanted last week) I just say thats ok I'll buy it online. Typically the guy on the counter says 'yeah good idea'.

A large % of my parts come from Rockauto or Amazon too. Rockauto is way cheaper but shipping evens things out sometimes. The local auto parts stores can’t compete and could care less.

That's what I had to do a few months back. I paid a ridiculous amount of money to get an exhaust system shipped to Canada but it ended up being the same price as the local retailer that was 200 miles away. They shipped in about a week.

Hopefully dealers hire and train people to fix these things. I've heard a few concerning stories around here.

Shipping by boat is cheapest and takes months obviously. Air is $$$. The problem I have had with Canada Post is that they have size and weight limits. I expect USPS is the same. Perhaps somebody like Fedex Freight or DHL can help. They usually all have websites to check services and rates.

By the way I ordered Legendary covers through Classic Industries with a bunch of other stuff in Nov of '22. Currently the expected ship date is Christmas ... 13 months from my date of order. Legendary was quoting 10 months a few months back. Be prepared to wait.

I just bolted the 1906 AVS2 on my stock 340 with Performer RPM intake. Unfortunately it won't be on the road for quite awhile but I'm confident it will do the job nicely.

F8 is a great color. My '70 Swinger which is under restoration now was yellow. I just can't live with yellow but I will stick to a high impact color...perhaps plum crazy.
