I installed a set of one piece bushings yesterday. They went in easy using some ready rod a few washers and nuts and a small strong back.

Removing the k member means driving the torsion bars out which can be difficult (there are special tools for this). The hardest part for me was removing the LCA bushings. Even the upper arm bolts were tough to get out. Its a lot of bull work.

All that matters is the relative angle of the powertrain and driveshaft. If it was me I would get the rest installed and check your angles, adjust and then weld the perches on.

Yes, a BFW helps to drive the pin out. I found that water pump pliers are great for squeezing the tabs on the cap to lock it on. I believe Richard Ehrenberg (Mopar Action) used to sell a kit on Ebay that came with instructions. I bought one a number of years ago.

I just did a similar mod. I would bolt on the old front hangers and use the old holes as a reference point. You can also check the measurement from your new holes in the boxes to the torsion bar mounts side to side although I can't say how accurate that is. You might want to move the axle...

I just moved the springs inboard in lieu of the offset shackles. It got me a wee bit more room. Its a little bit more work but if I mini-tub down the road half the work is done. You have to move the axle tube perches either way.
