Weiand Action Plus is a good intake... but so are many other dual plane intakes. IF keeping the coil mounted to the intake, then make sure the intake you use has the bosses for the coil mount. Many "cheap" head options.. .including using the heads you have. Good valve job and cut them .030 for...

Actually, an "up-to-snuff" 318 in a light A-body ('70 Duster) will fry the daylights out of the tires. It will also gain speed like crazy going up a long, steep, upgrade hill at only half throttle.

Never weighted it, but it's not the shorty (it's full size) with a full size bed in the back, and a bunch of other junk :D Wouldn't know where to guess it.... I'll have to weigh it sometime.
