    Cheater slick

I I found slapper bars to be the biggest bang for your buck (besides a good drag radial/or slick) for an open rear end. I don't care who or how many says different. I'd put slapper bars on it and set it up right. Here is my explanation video on why I use slapper bars on a open rear end with...

    Cheater slick

I have my Duster set up with an open rear end. Dead hooks. Of course, there is always the risk of one tire breaking loose on every launch, but generally there is no issue for me.

Has anyone used a wheel spacer to fill in the rear wells on a Duster?

'65-67 B-body 8.75 will add about 1" per side of width. You do not need to relocate the spring perches. You can drill the 7.25 shock mounts. I believe you can even use the 7.25 backing plates/brakes if you have 5x4.5 bolt pattern. Only thing will be shortening the drive shaft. I made this...

    Adaptors

I've used adapters before for a few years on a Dart and didn't have an issue. However, it doesn't come highly recommended. Need to take the tire off and occasionally check that they are staying tight - like re-torqueing aluminum wheels after a 100 miles. That all being said, if I needed, I...

MT ET Street SS. How sticky street driven?

yes, they will pick up pebbles. Never had a drag radial that didn't. Yes, you'll get some rubber spray on the quarters (but I did with a regular street radial too) at the strip

    Wheel Vintiques or US Wheel

I used wheels vintiques twice for 15" rallyes. In fact, I have a pair on the back of my '76 Duster now. I've been happy. Never tried US wheels, don't know which is better

    205/70/14 or 215/70/14 for 72 dart?

I remember the day when you could go about anywhere and buy 245/60r14's. They were common. Filled out the back wheel well nicely! Now, special order and expensive.

    Wheel adapters?

I've used them. I didn't have a problem, but I know it's not the best way to do it....

Would you trust 13 year old tires?

If they look good, not all weather cracked, hold air fine, and your not going to go 100 mph, run 'em.
