Larger Series tire for the front ?

I did the same; wider ones in back (17 X 8s) v. narrower in front (17 X 7). Car rides great, but I no longer carry a spare tire because of the difference in sizes. I'll just call for the hook if I get a flat.

Fast, they're the Dynomax mufflers which came with the TTI headers & full exhaust system I had put on it awhile back. They sound pretty healthy, especially with the recent engine work. When you have time, create a YouTube account and once you upload a video to the account, copy the URL for the...

New Rallyes are on - pictures

Looking very nice. Wish I could have stayed with my Rallyes but they wouldn't fit over the new brakes & calipers.

The 17 inch diameter ones fit on mine, without any alterations to the wheelwells or rear springs. They're not huge, just 8 inches wide in the rear and 7 inches in the front. The 18 inch ones may have fit, but I didn't want to go any larger than 17. Did you change your brake setup as well?

    Conquest wheels on my Duster

You know, they're not something I'd have picked but strangely enough, they really do work. Nicely done, Sir.

Joe, after showing my Dart the photo of yours, she told me she wants to be just like yours when she grows up (lol).

    Back-space question

I have the same issue; I'm replacing the small bolt pattern with the 5X4&1/2 large bolts and need to figure out what size tires and wheels will fit on my '71 Dart GT. I've been looking at American Racing 15" wheels and T/As but until we have the new disc brakes installed on all four corners I'm...

    Rim restoration

Take a look at this previous thread as well, it's on target for you. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=66676 I agree w/ the ealier blast then paint comments; it's the best way to get a clean surface to start over.

    Good call; they look great.

    Painted Rallyes?

I pulled mine off, removed the centers and re-painted them a flat silver to bring them back to life and deal with the rust which had been hidden by the trim rings. I used a Duplicolor rattlecan to do it. I'm going to see about getting the trim rings re-chromed as well.

    Cosmetic Rattlecan Surgery

Now THAT made me laugh, the disc brakes comment. You have no idea how much I'd like to ditch those drums. Thanks for the compliment as well; I really enjoy her. Speaking of which, what significance do you suppose the "K" marked in grease/wax pencil has on the drums? Both of my front drums have...

    Cosmetic Rattlecan Surgery

LOL, it's a throwback/memory from when we were kids. Any guy in my area who had a musclecar in the late 1960s-early 1970s had Cragars on them. I don't dislike the stock ones, and I've considered having them sandblasted, repainted and the trim rings I have chrome plated. Think it would dress it...

    Cosmetic Rattlecan Surgery

Saturday's project of 06/27/2009.... Decided to clean up the wheels with a bit of Duplicolor Spray Paint. Turned out alright, but Cragars are definitely in the future.
