If that is a California black plate that matches the car and television show I would assume the California DMV could provide some help. The car more than likely would have been registered to a studio at that time and is used in the opening sequence in the show and appears to be San Francisco.

That is pretty! Would be an awesome find if it is still around. It also shows Chrysler build quality at the time. A brand new car and the edge of the hood sits higher than the fender. It just shows they weren't perfect even when new.:)

Too bad about it being junked. It is cool to actually here an ending though. Usually you never hear anything about what may have happened to these cars. Looks like the registry is really solid!
