I have to correct myself now that I looked at mine, The first post it looks like I have the longer ones and not the shorter style.

The shorter ones look like what I have on my 1971 L4X9 bench seat in my Duster. It was my understanding that retractable ones were not used with bucket seats which got the seat belt that lays on the floor next to the seat.

My Duster was made in the last week of production July 9th, and has 1971 panels. I am sure it would be the same for your Demon.

There is a video on youtube where someone is putting door panels on a 1970 Rallye Olds and he placed the clips in the door, dabbed some white paint on the clips back and then placed the door panel in place. The paint leaves a dab where the door panel backing would need to be cut for the clips...

I had my 1971 Duster dash pad done by Just Dashes in the early 1990s and couldn't be happier on how it turned out. It's still as good as when they redid it but the car is garage kept. Even back then it cost me $300.00 plus.

Can someone please post a pic if you have PUI door panels on your 1970-1972 Duster or Demon or Dart. I am looking to see how the fit is and if they are more than one dimensional. Thank you.

Here is how they are on my 1971 with no clearance issues.

Insulation under the package tray. The tray should fit at the rear window seal as you have it, the front corners fit under the pop out window interior trim piece and the back seat when placed in will hold the very front of the package tray down.

Not sure what you have there. Mine is a July 9th SPD and I have four bows.

Inflation is real. I just found my old receipt from JD that did my Duster pad and it was $237.00 in 1992. That said, it is holding up great.

I will try to roll then edges back in the sun and see what happens. Does someone make the original material? I would cut my own.

I bought the better at the time trunk mat a few years ago for the Duster, the rubber one but the edges keep rolling up. I have tried everything to get them to lay flat but they keep rolling up on all sides. Does anyone have a mat they can recommend?

ACC sells one, the grain is not correct, the salt and pepper colors are not available but it does fit well and is a nice piece, it's just not correct.

When I did mine I did not trust just melting the tabs so I did that and added some small drop of super glue

They would be vinyl and probably look like this. They sold like this and had areas where you could trim them to fit or use them with a car with console. There was a company reproducing them but I am not sure if they are still available or not.

It is over plastic but is a hard plate and not the foil type that was used originally. How they did it, I don't know but when I was looking at it they told me it was an actual chrome plating and wasn't as delicate when it came to cleaning it. I can attest to that. I have had a restored one and...

I got the BE/A dash and could not be happier. I have no complaints on the fit and the best thing is it is actual chrome plate. The vacuum chrome plating on the originals was just too delicate for my tastes.

It is but you could probably get away with some very small screws if needed.

I got my BEA bezel about 7 years ago.(Duster) It required very little modification and I was really pleased with it. I had to drill for the odometer knob and fudge the metal reinforcement to fit on top. Fit and finish is great and the chrome is durable as previous post stated and not that vacuum...

It should be this ground wire.

I would bolt the steering column back up. There is also a ground that goes to it if I remember.

I am pretty sure they did not drill the hole for cars with the non remote mirror. You may want to look for one of those metal plugs at a hardware store.
