I love your car. There was one parked in a driveway unregistered in 1983, same year and color combination and I would drool over it on my way too school. It was the car that started my love of Dusters

Looking really nice. I admire anyone who would tackle a roof replacement. I love grabber blue, my grandfather bought a 1970 Mach 1 in GB brand new and I remember at night under street lights it would take on a light purple hue.

I had that issue when I installed the new IVR and found that that the factory hollow type nuts to secure the wires to the gauges on the circuit boards weren't making good enough contact so I used regular nuts and that worked.

Fantastic job on that headliner! It took a professional upholsterer two days to do mine. It is not an easy job.

It's looking Great! I find the rear decal interesting. It's my belief that early builds received the "Duster340" cloud decal, and then they switched to just the "Duster" cloud decal. The original brochure/literature cars and the ones in the films of the day has just the "Duster" cloud decal so...

Looks great! On the school bus we would pass by a driveway with a Duster the same color, scoop and all and it was the car that made me fall in love with Dusters.

Well said. We are not the same people we were when we were in our teens when these crude "Customizations" took place. Like most trends, they were cool at the time but now considered crass by most. Velvet interiors, tires that stuck out of the wheel wells, painting the axle and gas tank white...

I tried to clean them too without success. I painted them with SEM plastic paint with adhesion promoter and they are like factory new.
