    before you do that (have them re-arched) you should make sure you have them on the correct side if your luck is anything like mine you prolly DONT have them on right and all my be fine when you get them on correct.

    I have never removed them myself, but I know they make tools to remove them, I would guess they must be under alot of tension, be carefull. someone else should chime in hopefully

    Well I must be the odd man out, I bought Gas Charged NAPA Auto parts shocks as I won't be seeing alot (or maybe none) track time, mostly cruzin, they seem much better than the 30 year old shocks I took off...you all are prolly laughin at me now......

    AND if that gear lube gets on your brake shoes they are TOAST and will have to be replaced immediatly. Rear seal is leaking. IMO
