Another "Will these fit?": 18" Mustang wheels

Well.... they fit! BARELY!!! But they fit! I was able to get over to my buddy’s place this eve with the 1” wheel adapters. Just as I had planned it came up with about 3/16” from the spring pack and roughly a 1/4” from the rolled under lip. My springs are worn out and sag a bit, so in these...

Another "Will these fit?": 18" Mustang wheels

@72bluNblu thanks for the heads up on the caps. I had noticed them in one of you other posts. They definitely fit the wheels nicely looks wise too. As for my fitment in the front, if I have to Ill play around a bit with spacers and see if I can correct that bit of deficit you are talking about...

This is just photo edited, but it gives me and idea. Also I know I wont get the car that low without major surgery in the wheel tubs. LOL

Another "Will these fit?": 18" Mustang wheels

@MopaR&D car looks great! Did you ever find center caps? I ask because I am on the same adventure you were with these same wheels. I think I found a solution for the caps as I 3D printed one. :) Just curious what you found? Couple more questions as well. 1. Did you have them open the center...

Haaa... I love all the info coming back. Thank you guys. Ya know what... I think Im going to buy them, if they dont fit.... There are a host of Mustang guys that will buy them up and I can barely lose my arse when the pair are only $140.00 I think Ill snatch them up, throw them in the corner...

Anybody running 17" Cobra Bullit rims on a Duster

So it appears that the 17s are enough of a problem regarding the diameter, to maybe no bother with. The biggest reason I was going to jump on these was because of style and I cant beat the price. But if they may be more of a headache than they are worth, Ill probably just pass and buy others...

JR... Thanks man! Ill be checking it out! Thanks everyone for the specs! Awesome info to have when I am about to change this much back there! Well I did a little looking and found that the 8.8 width (mounting surfaces) are 59.5" wide. According to a few charts... the A-body 8-3/4 is 55.56"...

Anybody running 17" Cobra Bullit rims on a Duster

I am planning to run an 8.8 with disc brakes and all. The difference is 1/2" wider than the A body 8-3/4 I have currently if I remember correctly. As for the narrowing of the spring location.... excellent point, and aside from a decent sway bar nothing will change the effects you speak of. I am...

So............ lemme' drag this to the top for the pro's to answer. I am looking at a pair of "ZR500" wheels. Info I have been given: Stamped on wheel is this 46 17 05 210 I have gone to a site that sells these and the number doesnt match up to any of the offered wheels. The 46 seems to be...

    That modern look....

Throw me a ladder to jump on this wagon! I love the modern look and performance that is a "Pro-touring" ride. I plan to run at least 17s on the Valiant eventually. Probably wont dump huge amounts into a K-member swap as its just a car I wanna drive as much as possible and enjoy the hell out of...

    bullit wheels

I was following that thread for quite some time. Id guess the answer is in there. That and a lot of other info that may very well be pertinent to other areas you may not realize right off hand. :) Its a long read but its a good read if you are going to run those wheels.

Anybody running 17" Cobra Bullit rims on a Duster

Im not sure at this point whether Ill need spacers or not really. But... The difference in width of the rears is not much at all and I prefer the wheel to be offset toward the out side as much as possible with out rubbing. So I figure, the wheels that are common and easy to get ahold of (the...

Agreed! I love the fact that you managed to get the rears out to the quarters and not look like they are too far in the well. Same goes for the front. Thanks for the heads up on which parts to use also. (as a non-modified set up) Plan to do a 8.8 swap into my Valiant so I can get rear Disc...

Anybody running 17" Cobra Bullit rims on a Duster

Looks to me that if the Offset isnt quite right, that you may be able to run a spacer to fix the issue you have. Meaning, if you space it out, the the hus wont bottom out in the wheel, and the wheel would sit a little further to the outside of the car. Im sure you have thought of this, but that...

Wait a minute!!!! Did you manage to get the typical adapters that are like an inch thick, maybe more, to work with those wheels and still tuck? Have you tried the fronts yet? I was wondering if that would work, and figured it might for the rear but Im curious about the fronts with those...
