Looked at hobbylinc but found no help there. Now that you brought it up, it's worth another look. Thanks

    wheel backs

Y'all may not like this but heck read on from a guy who is getting old and working with it the best I can. Neither google nor ebay showed any 1/25 scale wheel backs in quantity. I'm not into detail, but rather static models. In other words, just look at them where they sit. Don't pick it up...

    '54 Chevy sedan

Ebay has been one of my sources for a long time along with the hobby sites I find online. Thanks for the idea. Ebay is probably the most likely place to find these things. Jerry

    '54 Chevy sedan

What happened to all the Revelle '54 Chevy 2dr sedan kits? I'd like to locate one. While I'm at it, an affordable '72 Satellite Road Runner kit or built kit would be nice. I won't hold my breath. Jerry in Denver

    glues, fillers and paints

Let us see if I can reply to all of the help I've been offered. At my age model building could be a challenge, considering that my steadiness has been slowly diminishing. And I'm only 75. I thank you all so much. Gonna have fun.

    glues, fillers and paints

Thanks. It's nice to know that super glue won't attack the plastic. Since super glue doesn't melt the plastic, I think I'll scuff the spots where glue is expected to hold. I will probably really like super glue for model building.

    glues, fillers and paints

Hi modelers, Being in my seventies, the work on my 1:1 scale cars is getting tougher on the old body. Think I need to downsize to 1:25. I haven't built model cars for some years. I'd like some suggestions that get me up to date on the technology of newer glues, fillers and paints. Glues...

here's one i hadnt seen before

Yes, it seems my steady ness is quite reduced these days. I might build me some kind of device to hold smaller parts for brush work. I hadn’t considered that. I’ll probably not try to silver-paint the side chrome or windshield/back glass trims anymore. Even with two hands it would be...

here's one i hadnt seen before

I’m probably one of the oldest model car builders in this discussion. My introduction to plastic real scale model cars was in the early 50’s when my dad, about 30 years old at the time, got a box with two 1/25 scale Cars. One was a ‘49-‘51 Studebaker coupe. I was astonished at the accuracy of...
