Kept the ball rolling and did the Turn Signal return cam on the Barracuda (since I found the new one while looking for a switch for a fellow member). Edit: Went around the block and after 4 turns, the left return cam broke. Guess I'll get another and try again.

Strut Bushings on my 64 Convertible. Drivers side 2 hours, thought this job was going to be a breeze until, passenger side 4 hours (nothing is a breeze with these old cars).

When do they offer the 5%? I haven't received a code for years even though I'm always buying parts.

Put in new defroster vents and hoses (from a 64 Dart). Also pulled the fresh air vent and fixed the broken door with household hinges and #6-32 bolts.

My wife's 94 Dakota has 318, 2wd and 5 speed manual.

Easy way to check this as a fix is hook up jumper cable to neg (-) only and clamp other end to bumper. Lights, accessories, horn should all work trying this procedure if the Neg ground was bad.

My 64 doesn't have Valiant script. Only way to tell for sure is gauge cluster and heater controls are different between 64 and 65.

I like the fenders on the 65, changed my 64 convertible over to match my 65. Need to look at tail lights to tell the difference now.

Like it with the bumpers. I've changed my 64 over to 65 fenders because I also like the lines on 65 better then the 64's.

I paid $25 for my 65 Valiant post back in 88.

I didn't realize PLYMOUTH was back making cars.

That was my first real job back in high school, 1/2 day of classes and then customized vans and pick-ups the rest of the day at a local shop. Used to win lots of "World of Wheels" shows back in the 70's. Too bad the owner liked to keep the money instead of paying back his loans.
