Also; I have found that if I don't "vent" the bushings before seating them they will "pop" off easy. I usually poke a hole in the top of the bushing with a safety pin so the trapped air can escape during seating. Then lube, then seat bushing. Bushing seating tool; Big vise grips with a socket...

After taking off window crank handle, arm rest etc... Go to NAPA or the like. There is a tool (<$10.00) you slide in between panel and door and pry up, pull off. The tool is about 3" wide, flat with a fork in the middle ideal for going around the clip so it "lifts" from both sides at once...

10-4 on that. You always have to drop the steering column to pull cluster. Did ya do the legs over the back of the front seat too?

The removal of the old one and the old insulation is the very worst part of the job. After that part is done and you start installing you're more than 3/4 of the way finished! Start from the back and work your way up.

Just a quick update; We had to borrow back the flat osterage dash pad back from Fern and put into BOF real quick for todays show. Thought I would let ya know, I'll have to redo BOF's 67 dash pad after my mess up. (See the dash pad thread in interior trim section). The borrowed pad really helped...
