Another newb question here. What transmission is actually in the 3spd manual cars? I mean, does it have an actual name like the A833, the 904, and the 727 do? Just curious. I only ever hear it referred to as a 3spd manual. Thanks in advance.

I have also heard that with early A bodies, there was nothing to keep you from shifting front 1st into reverse. Or any other gear into reverse. Is this true?
