DOES YOUR NEIGHBOR ALWAYS WANT TO BORROW SOMETHING?

This guy is older and definitely agree with your assessment. He plays the poor me card and I used to believe it but not anymore. Good on you for returning the favor!

DOES YOUR NEIGHBOR ALWAYS WANT TO BORROW SOMETHING?

Neighbor used to ask to borrow my truck. Not a beater mind you, my daily driver. Nah, so I'd drive him instead to get acetylene. Last time he wanted to get lunch too and I declined. So he bought a truck and doesn't talk to me anymore. Guy was a real charity case

1965 Barracuda Custom instrument panel gauges with sweeping tachometer

There's some wizardry going on I'd say. No driver facing vents on the oe setup leaves something to be desired and they fixed that

1965 Barracuda Custom instrument panel gauges with sweeping tachometer

Ad said they had $125k invested and it sold for $96k. Brake line junctions on rear axle don't appear to be tied down. Hose hanging below the axle doesn't inspire confidence either. For almost 100 grand I expect a lot

Buy a car without physically seeing it

Definitely not an 8.75 rear. Explorer? 8.25? It may not be an awful car, but no way I'd ask $35k if that was mine I'm more concerned of all the stuff underneath that's painted black

Buy a car without physically seeing it

I'll bet the car was silver. Good eye on the under back window paint! Edit: I just checked mine, and that area beneath the back window is the same color as the interior paint. So more likely primer Wonder what rear end it has with the 360. Hopefully at least an 8.25

Buy a car without physically seeing it

The trunk lid looks a bit funny to me. Letters are gone and the corners appear rounded, although this might be the lighting or camera angle. It does have slapper bars

Anyone know this part? Found 1961 Corvair rear air grill

My grandpa bought a new corvair that shot flames out the exhaust. He ended up selling it pretty quickly

    Brighter Dash / Gauge lights..?

LED's, really nice. Granted they'll probably quit working or get super dim before incandescent bulbs would, but I hardly drive at night

Curious how hands on FABO is

I quit using hardener in paint because it makes me sick, even with a cartridge respirator and ventilation. Paint isn't near as hard without it, but still looks better than primer and bondo

what is a running 318 worth

The 318 in my 75 valiant couldn't do a powerbrake on a frozen lake covered in coolant. That's part of why they're so undervalued. Stroker kits, cheap aluminum heads and better piston choices might change that but stigmas linger

How Could I Be So Stupid/Careless?

Kid I knew growing up used to play in his dad's Dodge truck sitting atop their steep driveway. One day he shifted it into neutral and took off the parking brake. It rolled down the hill and into the house across the street. That kid wasn't the brightest bulb

How Could I Be So Stupid/Careless?

I was getting ready to hit a huge downhill jump on my Redline 20" pedaling my brains out, standing up. My chain was on the loose side and came off. My right kneecap and the beartrap pedal took some of the fall, the rest went through my nuts and the top tube. Didn't wreck but couldn't bend...
