I know you all think I'm crazy, but here's the deal. Earlier this year I flew to Phoenix and bought two A100 vans. One of them would never run right, turned out the motor was plugged solid with rust in the cooling channels. It needs a motor. The other one ran and we drove it home.
Now...
Looking for a good running slant 6 in Phoenix, AZ. Myself and a friend will be flying into Phoenix to purchase a vehicle but need a new motor for it. Anyone got one that is known to be good, that you can sell me? I need a guaranteed good motor, no junk. Will be driving it almost 4000 miles...
In fact, here's one for sale...

I have an a100 van, I visit this website a lot http://vintage-vans.forumotion.com/forum.htm
There's always people listing different vans for sale or links to them for sale around the internet.
That's a nice looking horn button, someone should scoop it up for that price. I just don't need it. I bought an NOS one from National Moparts in Beaverton, ON. He had 3 of them, might not have them anymore, I don't know. It was $150.
I've decided I'll keep mine, unless someone comes through with a grill center?
Here's one on the bay..-> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mopar-Dodge-Plymouth-A-Body-Steering-Link-V8-Cuda-65_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34200QQihZ016QQitemZ260233113885QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
I need a 6-blade 18" small block fan and a center grill section for my '65 Barracuda. Trade ya for an early a-body V8 centerlink, no rust and clean clean clean.
Just check this link, there's 4 on there for sale.
They're usually quite plentiful and $100 or less, I wouldn't pay more unless it's absolutely beautiful. I paid $100 for one with some scratches that was local....saw one that was almost NOS at Carlisle for $200...
I have a bunch from 10" front drum and 7 1/4" rear. Will the rear ones fit an 8 3/4"? I think so eh? I can't recall, are they the short or the long ones? Seems to me the long ones were on the front drums and the short were from the rear end, right? If you can tell me short or long, I'll send...
Ready to go -> http://www.dantesparts.com/abodymolded.html
I've read there's a kit to convert to fabric headliner, I guess the kit includes bows.
We made one from Centra (plastic material used for making signs) then glued modern headliner felt on to it, turned out pretty good. I think we...
I still need a '65 Barracuda (or Valiant) drivers side fender, front valance, grill and front bumper. Anyone got these parts?
Willing to pay money or trade for a variety of hard to find early a-body parts I have, including but not limited to:
- plastic trunk latch covers
- Barracuda...
I need bumper brackets too and that same guy on ebay offered me the same thing. I offered him 20 bucks but never got a reply. I tried him again and I'm waiting.
The guy making the billet aluminum ones has a very nice aqua blue one that I'm sure he'll sell. I know this for a fact because I gave it to him. He was going to use it as a template to make an aluminum version, but then said it can't be done and he still has the cap. He paid $0 so make him a...
Yes, my car was smashed. It was a nice rust free California car.
I'm looking for a nice rust free hood, drivers fender, grill, lower valance, etc.
Hopefully close to me, within a few hours at most or cheap enough to ship. Thanks.
Neil.
Windshields are still available from glass places. You can actually order up a brand new rear glass for about $2000 apparently, but a used one is the way to go. They usually sell for $50-150. Rear glass is easy to find, hell I put my spare in the garbage!
They were made not to break and so...
Lots of good info at www.earlyabodyforum.com
I bought my car missing the origine engine too, but now I realize it's a good thing. I'm not married to a numbers matching car and now I am free to do what I want without worrying about ruining a numbers matching machine, if you know what I mean...
I'm the one that scanned that image and I think it's more of a general reference guide than the law. My buddies Dart had a 318-2barrel from the factory but had the .87" 340 bars as part of the heavy duty suspension package, also factory and all documented on a build sheet we found.
