    66 Cuda question

Pretty much any 22" radiator will fit, except maybe C-body ones or truck ones, they're a little taller. An A-body is an A-body, even early A-bodies. (with certain exceptions). Just because the engine bay is narrower has nothing to do with it. I had a '68 Max Wedge rad in my '65 Barracuda when...

Fan shroud options for a 66 Barracuda

Here's a link some discussion about these shrouds. A guy used the top of a dryer front to make one, not a bad idea. http://www.earlyabodyforum.com/board/messages/2/2473.html

Fan shroud options for a 66 Barracuda

My shroud is out of my car right now, because of the accident. I won't be putting it back in because I couldn't find the right 16" 6 blade fan. I was able to get an 18" flex fan from a friend, so I'm going to use that for now.....the shroud will go on the shelf for now, until I get the right...

Fan shroud options for a 66 Barracuda

Original '64-66 Barracuda shroud looks like this. They are two piece metal and quite rare, quite often showing up missing the brackets. I made my own brackets. There's a slant 6 version which does not fit the 22" rad, so be aware of what you're buying.

I say go with the 19" and let your buddy Neil have the 18" one for his Barracuda. :)

Fix for leaking chrome T-stat and valve covers.

That O-ring idea is good. Your homemade one looks pretty big though, any way to make it smaller? You could be making and selling these things!

    Heater Box Rebuild

I did my own. Be careful removing the little clips that hold the fiberglass unit together, they can chip and crack the fiberglass. I did damage a few spots so I dremeled a new area beside the damage and put the clip there. Inside I painted all the metal bits and used some thin foam material...

    Rad and fan replacing

Instead of starting another topic, I figure this is a good place for my questions. The 1973 Dart Sport we're fixing up has a 19" radiator. I think maybe it's a replacement radiator. I has only the number 20446 and a Pentastar on it. Is this a basic Chrysler replacement rad or what? It has...
