    Yep it is what I have been doing for the past 2 weeks is. I scrubbed the gasket with 4.o steel wool and grease lighting. And have put Vaseline on it everyday and worked it in and finally got the gasket like new nice and soft and playable :cheers:

    Thanks everyone for the motivation.Update finished the floor pans, having subframe connectors made at local machine shop, got gas tank removed and got the drivers quarter panel trimmed out some " not all the way" and found surprises as usual with restoration :cheers::cheers::cheers::burnout:
