    t fitting on rear end

I've seen these somewhere before. Maybe thru one of the outfits like SSBC or so. Another option would be to look into getting a later model A body rear brake hose like a 73, these have the brass tee built in as part of the hose assembly. Make sure the hose length is long enough and you...

update - We bled the brakes again today using a pressure pot. The rears bled out fine, the fronts didnt work at all, with the pressure bleeder. There is a low pressure valve on the prop set up which you are supposed to pull out, a little metal tit, but when it was pulled out no flow from...

This isnt an A body but it is a mope. 82 dippy. We decided to put DOT 5 in my son's car on which we rebuilt the whole system. We replaced calipers, hoses, wheel cylinders, and master cylinder. We blew the lines out and then installed the bench bled master and allowed it to gravity bleed for...

Disc Brake donor vs Disc Brake kit....

Is the buyer interested in the body or the whole package. Maybe sell the car without the parts you need and like you said with the 66 stuff on it. Its just a no brainer as far as I am concerned. You've got everything you need right there to do the whole conversion, including the brake lines etc...

    85 Diplomat Brakes

I should qualify this a little more - THe rotors are exactly the same, the calipers will bolt on but the hose mounting may be a little different. I think the later calipers had a thicker boss on the mounting for the hose.

Pass Rear Drum - Premature lockup?

Off chance - are the linings the same type material on each side ? How are the rear wheel cylinders - are the pistons free on each side ? Any chance the emergency brake is stuck on the side that locks up ?

    Worthless!!!!

I'd only rebuild wheel cylinders if the cylinders were absolutely pristine with no pitting. I have yet to see any that were that way when I took them apart. Calipers? As long as the pistons arent messed up, why not rebuild them its pretty easy.

    brake project

Check your rubber hoses and make sure they arent cracked or otherwise damaged. Bench bleed the master cylinder before installing. Then bleed the passenger rear until no air bubbles then the left rear, then the right front, and finally left front. Done. I would also use DOT 5 silicone fluid...
