welcome! Mine started out with the 6 but soon had a 360 in it and was running strong. Small block is an easy swap and even a warmed over 318 will make it run good.
I used the "302" heads on my 318 with the stock valve sizes (1.78I) and it performed very well. The 302's biggest boost is the small chamber which will give you more compression.
Welcome! You might consider attending Mopars at Thunder Mountain on Sunday the 15th
There might be lots of cars to look at. It's at Bandimere and I believe it starts at 8:00 in the morning.
You are in good company! myself and 65dartman are locals. Do you live in the Denver area? Gonna' be a good show at Bandimere May 6th(if it stops snowing)LOL. My dart will not be painted by then but if I get the sealer on it it will be there.
Any mopars racing in the roundy rounder circuits these days? Seems like a brand x dominated form of racing, thats why I lost interest in it. Even years ago at our local tracks you would only see 1 mopar for every 10 chevies.
Mark, Are you a Husker fan? Even though it is very unpopular to be a Husker fan where I am in the land of the Buffaloes, I remain a Husker devotee. Go Big Red!
