Can't get away from it, Colorado drivers suck too. Too many cars, not enough roads, too much cellphone/text bs while driving. I agree about the truck drivers on the interstates as well. If you are limited to 62 mph for fuel economy, stay in the right lane!

Is it a dial on the dash? If so, the motor is for low range, and you must be stopped completely for it to engage. 4hi is engaged with a magnetic clutch inside the tcase. All 4wd functions on these type are controlled by the GEM module. You can engage 4hi anytime. Getting a light on the dash?

I have the ceramic coating and it is well worth it. Dougs has the best coating that I have seen, much prettier than tti's, and it is durable. No issues at all.

All this makes me wonder about the 426 Max Wedge from '63. I believe it was rated at 425 h.p., it had to make more than that especially with the cross ram. and it's a Mopar, not a chevy. However, I do like the Z-11 W chevy engine, I think it had 500+. Can't discount the 427 medium riser ford...
