thanks to this thread I made some ideas a reality and finally built a real tach mount. turned out just how I wanted!

i was reading bout that, however i wanted this on the cheap, this mold was 8 bucks through work, and i had everything else to make it work. cant pass that up!

thank you! not yet, its was 11 degrees today.....wasnt diggin the idea of sitting under the dash stringing wires and copper tubing....haha when i do though ill post em.

i know this thread is old, but maybe someone else may have interest they just dont know it yet ;) time to revive it! made my own gauge mounts for my 66. went to radioshack and picked me up a couple 130 degree LED's so i wont have to tear this apart ever again to change a bulb. ill be running...

used an old exhaust bracket from my powerwagon, undercoated, 1/8 inch plate steel, mounted to the lower side of my dash via one of the two studs that the u clamp for the steering column support bolts to. pretty solid. Also, does anyone out there have any idea who made this tachometer? i tore it...
