    Softer Shock absorber options

The Vikings are double adjustable… they are actually better for a car with small/stock bars as you can add compression damping…with the big bars their damping characteristics just don’t work…I took them off my car with the 1.14 bars and put them on my old purple junker with .92 bars..
  13. 67autocross

    Softer Shock absorber options

They are silver non adjustable… I likely bought them 10 years ago or longer now I think about it…Bill Clinton was your president when I bought my 1.14 inch bars…

    Softer Shock absorber options

One thing I learned from years of motocross is stiff spring rates can actually make the bike ride softer…when you don’t have enough spring rate you blow through the suspension travel and bottom out…and bottomed out suspension be it car or bike is both stiff and harsh…now not a single passenger...

    Alterkation question. .....

Do you have a link to the non power road race rack? I’m building another car right now... it has an alterkation and I would prefer manual steering to keep the weight down.

    Shock Length for Lowered Cars

Anything past about 6 clicks of compression damping on the warriors and I think that it's starting to put too much stress on the shock mounts in my opinion.

    Shock Length for Lowered Cars

On an A body with 1.14 bars you can put about 2 to 3 clicks of compression at the most from full soft and maybe clicks 6 clicks of rebound. On the car with small bars maybe 6 or 7 compression at the very most and 3 to 4 rebound max...

    Shock Length for Lowered Cars

I have a set on a car with 1.14 bars and a set on a car with .85 bars...through the years I have run every shock from KYB to bilstein

    Shock Length for Lowered Cars

I have purchased these shocks(through PST) and feel the valving is to stiff, once you get past about 6 clicks in on compression or rebound they are just too harsh.

Torsion Bars... Best Diameter for a Lowered Street / Autocross car?

I run Mopar performance 1.14 bars and a double adjustable shock in my 69 Valiant...good combo for all around driving. I was going to run 1.20 bars but was going to have to modify the TTI headers at that size so I went with 1.14s.
