I'm with you, $200 for the set of 4. The hardest part with the fronts was moving the track "feet" around for the best tucked under look and making the riser for the rear of the track.

I misunderstood, definitely had to cut that floor pan

I made new ones out of the same 12 ga. I made the tubs from. Welded them in, it keeps the inner panel from oil canning

I did find some pics on line of carpeted, no seats rear areas where the builders cut the lower sail panels to allow the tub tub extend into the space and carpeted the whole deal (attached). Personally I would probably either strip (carpet) the lower panel to metal, than split,stretch and fill...

Ahhh. got it. When you quoted me I thought I missed something. I know there are a couple members here (one with a bright yellow trimmed interior and exterior) that have done this and modified their seats. It looks good when done.

I cut the "adapters" off the stock supports and made new ones to fit after the tubs were done, rewelded them right where the original spot welds were. just a little cardboard for a template and......

Well... "IF" you do, it will lower the value for someone looking for a stock tub "S" or it could raise the personal value for the current owner. These cars aren't gold mines and by the time they are (?) we would be to old to capitalize. Have fun.

I found these adhesive overlays. I thought I bought them from Detroit Muscle (vendor)when I rebuilt my air boxes.But don't see them on their site.

I slide them forward and flip the seat back forward, it's not the most convenient but is pretty accessible . I had even thought of looking for a 2 door to see how the seats work but the cars are scarce.

I bought mine from ModernClassics after seeing 76orangewagon's and after being warned that they sucked to do business with (no product for 2 months after being told "it was on the shelf" when I paid , until I called the CC company to dispute the charge). The products they have are however nice...

$50 a seat, the rear bottoms were a lot of work due to the offset trans tunnel.

don't know why the this thread was bumped from 8/11, but it's right up my alley, 4 neon buckets (non srt) with factory slides with modified feat, the outboard feat land in the bench seat holes and the inner feat land in the bucket holes

mine are attached to the inner roof rail, through the headliner, in the factory location for the fronts .though I have the mounts in the rear sail panel structure , my interior panels aren't cut out for them. I have a fastback but the upper bolt should be in the same location, just rear of...
