Every once in a while I find parts on my cars that I didn't know I had. Here is a pic of the original battery cable from one of my small block 68's with the Chrysler part number clearly stamped/painted along the entire length. Not a re-pop, original as installed 50+ years ago. The battery end...

Key in/headlight on buzzer from what I can find. One under dash pic I found shows it on passenger side next to glove box liner, but another discussion says 6"-8" from fuse box.

All three of my 68 Barracuda’s horns are like that. I can guarantee two of them are originals.

They are different, but I think same overall diameter (guessing). The top horn has more “turns” making the tube longer. I assume this is the low tone and the bottom horn is high tone.

Pic of the horns on my un-restored original, mounted in same position as member 1969383S pic. Looks like I need to do some changing on the green 68 Formula S (pics above). Top horn is on wrong side of bracket, and ground is on wrong side of radiator support.

Pretty sure, but I will confirm against the other car to make sure. Too darn cold last night!

Pics of my 68 bulkhead, 4 speed car. Top two wires on right side of right bulkhead connector as shown in pic. Wires are only 3"-4" long and go into the connector for wire harness that goes to reverse switch on trans.

I don't think so. The one wire refers to the shorter wire on the right. Newer alternators had two of these wires, along with the wire on the left that attaches to the stud on back of alternator.

Wiring diagrams not so bad for me, just takes patience to follow them through with the correct color coding on wires. But when it comes to physically knowing where the factory mounts the actual switch, relay, sensor, routing of wires, etc.; that's where all the time gets spent browsing through...

Took a lot of research to get to this point. I have three 68's, and they are all different configurations. 318/904 column shift reverse light switch at bottom of steering column. 318/904 floor shift with reverse light switch on console shifter. 383/A833 with reverse light switch on...
