I need mufflers and tail pipes. My down pipes are in good shape. I have not found any sources for down pipes for the HP manifolds. I remember 15 years ago you could go to a muffler shop and get it done for $225, including a cross over and mufflers. Times have changed.

How about the Summit Racing kit? It comes with Summit brand mufflers. Has anyone used the Summit kit? How does it compare to Dynomax? I figure that even if I go with the Dynomax muffflers, I would have to buy the Summit kit to get the tail pipes. I have not found any A body 2 1/2...

Lift the motor slightly, and put one of those padded blankets that moving companies use on the inner fender.

Do the stainless steel tips come polished and look like the chrome tips? If not, how much time did you spend polishing them?

I used the nickel rod and welded the broken section back on. Vee-d out the crack, no preheating, small sections at a time and let it cool to the touch in between. It's been been back on the car for a few hundred miles now, and the exhaust leak in gone. Thanks to all for your advice.

What size are the steps? Is it possible to get a 2 1/2" down pipes from the manifold? It looks very difficult on the drivers side with the starter, torsion bar and other obstructions.

Pypes and Summit are header back systems. I emailed Pypesexhaust and they do not have down pipes available.
