    Try putting a resonator after the muffler to quelch the drone.

    quiet exhaust

    You can also put glasspacks after the mufflers to act as resonators. Usually sandwiched between the leafs and the tank, just about 10" back from the tips. Use the shortest ones- the downside is that it does add some pounds.

    TTI or Doug's headers for 69 340 4 speed car?

    Vans, last couple years of M-bodies (prime pickings for the right angle oil filter adapter and power trunk release,too), Dakotas, and full-sized p/ups (until the advent of the 3rd gen Hemi). I love me some scrounging!
