Got mine from Randy's too. Easy bolt-on, made of metal with a rolled edge, not too obtrusive, and I think it actually helps my cooling by diverting air up and through the core.

No complaints with my FBO system. Don is an interesting guy - if you can communicate with him.

I've got a red top but in your case I think a yellow top would be better suited because of their "deep cycle" properties - but only because you're not running a charging system.

Unlimited should be at the bottom of your list (or not even on it). For me, AAR is at the top.

I believe they're long to work with GM trans which requires a longer throw to go into park. When connected to your 727 the trans will go into park before it gets to the end of the plate. I think they warn about not forcing the shifter when using with a Chrysler trans.
