    I am with Chuck, go with the Dana. 8 3/4 is plenty stout to handle your application, but what do you plan in the future? The other thing is 8 3/4 has plenty of steel street gears available, but the only Pro Nickel gear available is the 4.86. Dana 60 you can get whatever size gear you like in...

    go with the cork gaskets and do not tighten it to tight !

    tranny slpping???

    Remember a 727 or 904 does not pump in park...If you let it run 10 min. in park you have not done nothing...Must be in neutral or in a gear to pump....SOund like you have something leaking by inside the tranny though...Lee

    Help! Stall Converter fail to work

    It sounds like you did not get the covnertor in all the way...Like they said, most generally this will break the pump. Look at the end of your torq shaft for sometimes it will leave scarred marks...Good Luck...Lee
