    Go Cummins! I have an '03 common rail and wouldn't go back to a gas powered pickup for anything! I want an early 12V, they actually get better mileage than my present truck and I'm in the high teens and it's stock.

    Doesn't have a DPF, it's a 6.0 PowerJoke. DPF wasn't around til the '08 'Jokes came out. Isn't it funny how the REAL diesel, Cummins, still doesn't use that crap, runs cleaner, and makes more power?

    new car question

    Not sure about cars, but I know diesel trucks have an hour meter. A place I used to work for has an '07 F350, the foreman would sit in it with the A/C on just idling and it shut down one day. It was taken to the dealer and we found out it shut down after "excessive" idling.
