My 340 with hi po manifolds into accurate 2.25 inch true dual exhaust with gibson performance exhaust mwa mufflers. I too wouldnt want it any louder, pretty quiet with windows up, like blu said floor sound/heat barrier deff makes a difference

Well put mat, I believe that's exactly what they were going for. Kinda like doing a dyno run with a k&n filter or regular paper filter, just a good premise on what should happen when swapping one for the other

Plus it looks factory, im sure its possible to weld the cast but with all the pre heating procedures its a pain in the a55. If your looking for a recommendation on paint id recommend cast blast sold by eastwood

I agree dont try to weld cast as its a tedious process. A lot easier to just cut it off, tap both sides and get some nice Allen head threaded plugs and seal the holes off, thats what i did

They sound good. A little louder at cruise but no drone. With the windows up you can have a conversation without any interruption. To me it sounds a little more modern if that makes sense. It sounds like a hot little 340 now. The exhaust reflects the engine now. Open manifold cutouts next? Lol...

Another vote for accurate. Have em on my demon behind the 340. Nice sound a 2k cruising but not obnoxiously loud. Sound great. I hate super loud exhaust.

Lol jk are they shorty headers? Im not familiar with the tti but the engine should be sitting as low as it can with the mounts. Is it a v8 k frame?

The 340 hipo manifolds are the more desired ones. But they are worth more as manifolds then they are scrap
