I just booted the Flowmasters for some Jones 3" welded straight thru turbo's. These are the 18" body models. WAY better than the loud dronemasters! Exhaust is 3" with an H-pipe. 3" Jones welded 18" muffs on Gen III Hemi with a cam... - YouTube

Warlock Racing Muffler or Flowmaster Original 40 Series??

Im swapping in some Jones welded turbos in as we speak. Had 2 chamber Flows and just cant do them anymore, the sound they make between shifts with a manual trans I cant stand.

    Dynomax Ultraflow mufflers..

I like Borlas, they have quiet idle but also have a unique shreek at full song that gives me goose bumps with the right engine. I cant stand Mangnaflows and right now I am using flowmasters which have become cliché. Dynomax are my second favorite. My next muffs will be Spintech because of their...

X & H pipe vs straight dual exhaust

Chrysler must not of gotten your memo about how sucky X-pipes are Old man because they have been in almost every SRT-8 since 2005. You need to tell them they're doing it wrong! Might as well tell Chevrolet, Ford,BMW,Mercedes,Ferrari and Cadillac while your at it.

X & H pipe vs straight dual exhaust

X pipes do have the potential to have to tight of a merge and can take your exhaust from being a dual 3" system to a single 3.25" system at the merge. Does that make sense??

    H pipe question, regarding sound.

Quiet and Flowmaster cant be used in the same sentence!

    4.7 exhaust studs source?

The thing about those damn things is to not tighten down the heat shield nutd tight, just tight enough it doesnt rattle. The 2 different metal type of the manifolds and the sheild expanding and contracting front heating up and cooling down is what breaks the heads off the bolts. Even double nuts...

    Anybody running PYPES Violator?

Im running a 3.5" Pypes X kit with Borla XR1s and it sounds nasty. More exhaust than I need but should be perfect for a 700hp B engine in the future.

**Summit Universal X Pipe with TTI Headers**

This one is the one I used, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pypes-Crossover-Pipe-X-Pipe-Stainless-Steel-Natural-3-5-Diameter-Universal-Kit-/111024435896?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19d99272b8&vxp=mtr and it came with more pipe than it looks like in the picture, but this was...

**Summit Universal X Pipe with TTI Headers**

I have a 3.5" x pipe kit on mine from Pypes. Great kit and the price was great from Jegs on eBay.

Im ditching Flowdisasters and goin with Borlas FYI.

    When to go bigger?????

My old 3" H-pipe setup no longer fits after the 6 spd. goes in so I figured wth and am going with a 3.5" Pypes X-pipe kit and some 16" x 3.5" Borlas I scored off of Moparts. Probably will put some 2.5" turndowns on it to tame it down a bit. Plan on a bigger engine in the future so figured might...

Differing size pipes make much difference?

I have 3" all the way and then I use 2 1/2" turndowns and it made a substantial difference at idle than the 3" turndowns. Way quieter.
