Looks good, should be a fun project. I'm sure it's just how it looks, but it appears there is a decent amount of room around the engine, I figured it would fit tighter than that.

That's the only thread I found too. Cope Racing makes a BB to SB adapter plate, so all I would really need is a custom adapter to bolt the torque converter to the BB flexplate, as well as a toothed ring for the starter somewhere in there. I just need to get the parts and figure it out I guess.

They are usually more than that around here as well, however, there is a Upullit yard close to me that only charges $225 for any complete engine and $100 for the trans. One of these days I'll get the ambition to go pull a Hemi out of something there. They usually get one or two cars a month...
