fastest way to strip paint off car

Bighammer posted pretty much what I used. I think i did my hood in under an hour. Yes you will get sand everywhere but for as long as it takes with anything else it will be less effort. With chemicals you have to let it set up, then scrap it. Then do it again and again. Then figure out where...

    soldering iron

I bought a soldering gun the other day. 100w. WEN is the brand from the hardware store. It seems to work pretty good once i figured out how to use it. I still will look for an iron the gun is kinda bulky and awkward.

If I want to strip my car to the metal..... what do you recommend?

ive had good luck with hand tools. There engine held my fully dressed all iron 440 for 2 years with no problems. Engine hoist(borrowed from neighbor) did a fine job. The cheap HVLP paint guns ive used for primer and really like them.

Harbor Freight - Gems and Junk

So what your saying is to not shop HF? How about the 1000's of people that work in their stores are they not holding American jobs? Are those jobs not important too? So we should put 1000s of people out of work so we can spend more for tools?
