Well some great advice. Wasnt planning $50 on one maybe $20 at local supplier. Mainly one to do like 20-16g wires. the big stuff i just use a torch and melt the solder into the terminal. Ill check out sears see if they hae something that will service decent.

ive had good luck with hand tools. There engine held my fully dressed all iron 440 for 2 years with no problems. Engine hoist(borrowed from neighbor) did a fine job. The cheap HVLP paint guns ive used for primer and really like them.

You can do the layaway completely online then pick up at the nearest open location. Pretty easy. I did it with a TV one year and it was painless.
