stock pushrods? I as because i went with 3/8 push rods and noticed that a few of mine were rubbing on the side of the head almost enough to deflect them. Have you checked them all where they pass though the head?

What are the limits of them 6-pack rods? I assume this will be spinning at a higher RPM 6500+.

I think that depends on how much they have to take off. I know when I started pricing machine work. Seemed like it revolved around .010 increments.

I guess I have to ask. I know several have touched on this being a timing/cam install issue. I guess while your chasing everything down and yes I know its more work but why not pull the timing cover and verify? Or maybe you did and I missed it?

agreed something doesnt sound right. your build sounds like an easy 500+ hp at the crank they say you lose 15-20% at the wheels but that should still be upper 300's and low 400's

5/16 fuel lines arent going to support a built 440 like that. Its running out of fuel when you get the RPM up. Remember you lose a good % in the drivetrain. What are the cam specs?
