Blown head gasket. Looking to go single carb or find 450 carbs. I should be enjoying it but I'm not. Thinking while ingot things tore down. Time to switch.

Got the hood bumpers and side rubbers they really helped line the hood to fenders and to grille. Posted via Topify on Android

I noticed it did look a bit odd through the grill. Maybe at some point I'll go back and do that. Right now I'm on a mission. There is a Huge show Oct 4th. I'd like it together enough to make. Probably spend the winter going over some areas I'm not totally happy with and polishing stuff up

I got most of the front together. The hood needed some adjustments which today i was able to get it closer then it looks in the photo.

It looks good. I did it myself again with the help of a pro. I did end up with a few small runs. I believe i can sand and buff them out later.

Ive got the rear parts back on, bumper, extentions, valance and side lights. It took a little time but it did seem to fit back well. Tomorrow moving on to front which will take more time.

It is TB3 petty blue.

Got the hood and fenders back on things line up better. Changed out header gaskets went with Remflex and what a HUGE difference. I could tell right away leaks were there before. A lot less motor noise. Also discovered why it ran like ****. Found 2 plug wires down on the rail off. Must have been...

just decking or square decked?

Yeah it is lol. But I think it was low on fuel. No gauge yet to tell how much. I just kinda tell by listening to the fuel pump.

Yours is about what mine looks like now I think. But still yours doesnt look that bad.

I was able to get it closer looks alot better. Not perfect but you might be right when its one color it may not be as noticeable.

I really have thought about going. My neighbor is going up. Id like to go up and spend the night though its a long drive for one day. Have to see what finances are like.

Pass side to me looks really good. Good gap in both locations.

these are the driver side. You can see the bottom along the door is good, the fender to hood is good but the back corner isnt good.

It isnt you are right its from a donar car. what do you mean by relax it? Im guessing unbolt it?

the pass side is really fitting well. The driver not so much. Id like to get the fender to move out just an 1/8" or so but just cant seem to get it to. I suppose I could notch the holes maybe?

Yeah it just barely fits though lol. I wish I had a way to dress it better. as I said the fine tune alignment of the hood and fenders has me puzzled i need small movements but all i get are big ones.

Well I got the front end together and cleaned the windows of overspray. Having touble fine tuning the gaps at the fenders to hood. Also found someone to shoot it for me at a resonable cost.

Something to consider not sure of your budget. There are some great alum heads. But you can get to your goal with iron heads. Lots of guys jumping ship to alum and leaving behind good irons some even ported. You got a solid car looks good. On the cheap I bought some of those $100 sets of rods on...
