Why the Fuch not? Porsche wheel replicas on an A-Body?

American Eagle wheel used to make the Porsche copy wheels in 5-4.5 bolt pattern many years ago. They didn't come with center caps. Porsche caps would fit right on them. I have a set of the conquest wheels that I bored to centers out to fit. Can't use a cap on the front wheels because the...

Bullitt Wheels - How to open up bore?

I've gone the other way. Removed my studs and used a flap disc on my grinder and spin the rotor. Only needed to take a little off to get the clearance needed. Only needed to remove a little over a millimeter.

These pop on the wheel like the poverty caps. I like them too.

    Mexican dart wheel caps

Has anyone seen or have access to a set of these wheel caps? I think they came on the darts from south of the border.

Will Boss 338 (18x8/18x9.5) fit on my 69 cuda?

I just put a set of 16" rims on my car before it goes into storage. the fronts are 16x8 +15 offset and they fit perfect. Your 18" will fit even better. Should look really good.

    1973 Dart Swinger Owners + 17" Rims

I have 17x8s with 4.5" back spacing on my 67 dart. they work fine but when you look at the car from the rear, the fronts track about 3/4" wider than the rears do. I have 225/45-17s on the front and 255/45-17s on the rear. I have another set of rims that are 16x8 and 16x9. The 16x9s have a 5"...

Will Boss 338 (18x8/18x9.5) fit on my 69 cuda?

would probably be pretty close but I think you might get away with it. I have 17x8s with a 4.5" back spacing on my 67 dart. I don't have enough room under my rear quarters for the 9.5" rims but the Cuda doesn't have that problem. Make sure you post some pics if you get them.

    aluminum wheel trick

I think I used tidebowl toilet cleaner for the rough cast finish aluminum once and had good results with that too. Worked on an aluminum intake that I had . It will dull a polished finish though.

    aluminum wheel trick

I got them at Menards. Lowes probably has them too. Don't know how well they would work on the newer style wheels. The older 1 piece cast aluminum wheels are pretty tough to screw up. Don't think I would chance the lighter alloy wheels unless they are really bad. As always, test on a small part...

    aluminum wheel trick

I discovered a quick way to clean the older aluminum rims that I wanted to pass along. The older 5 slot rims have very small grooves machined into the face of the rim and it is pretty difficult to get the black oxidation spots out of the grooves before you polish them. If you've owned a set then...

    Bfg 265-50-15

I think that size can still be found in a Remington brand, a Delta brand and Cooper. that size has been discontinued by Bf Goodrich for quite some time. Srduster is correct. If one of those tires comes apart at highway speeds it would destroy your quarter panel and possibly cause an accident. A1...
