I've gone the other way. Removed my studs and used a flap disc on my grinder and spin the rotor. Only needed to take a little off to get the clearance needed. Only needed to remove a little over a millimeter.

I just put a set of 16" rims on my car before it goes into storage. the fronts are 16x8 +15 offset and they fit perfect. Your 18" will fit even better. Should look really good.

I have a set of 15x7 cop car rims and dog dish caps listed in the exterior parts section. they are the large bolt pattern if thats what you need.

would probably be pretty close but I think you might get away with it. I have 17x8s with a 4.5" back spacing on my 67 dart. I don't have enough room under my rear quarters for the 9.5" rims but the Cuda doesn't have that problem. Make sure you post some pics if you get them.

I think I used tidebowl toilet cleaner for the rough cast finish aluminum once and had good results with that too. Worked on an aluminum intake that I had . It will dull a polished finish though.

I got them at Menards. Lowes probably has them too. Don't know how well they would work on the newer style wheels. The older 1 piece cast aluminum wheels are pretty tough to screw up. Don't think I would chance the lighter alloy wheels unless they are really bad. As always, test on a small part...

slowly start one lug nut at the 12 o'clock position with the skinny part of the washer facing down. don't tighten it all the way. then rotate that lug nut down to the 6 o'clock position and start the other 2 lug nuts that are at the top the same way. don't tighten any of the down completely...
